WOW Its been 5 months since my last blog.
Now thats what transition looks like huh??
Well lets see. I have restructured my nonprofit I co-founded and operated for 4 years, I moved me and my children ages 6 and 7 from New Jersey to South Carolina , I got divorced after almost 5 years of seperation, My eldest child turned 18 years old, and so much more!!!
Can anybody say GOAL digger??!!
I am so excited about where I am and what God is doing in my life. A few Sundays ago my new pastor, Dr. Herbert Bailey, who has been sharing on how to ELIMINATE LACK IN YOUR LIFE; Shared a word that was just for me....CONQUER THE LAZY SPIRIT. I will not attempt to bring u that sermon because he was explosive as usual when he hits points home (or in the gut!!) But ladies , "HARVEST IS WORK" !!!
Simply asking GOD for what you want or need in your life is not gonna do it. It takes getting up off your behind, putting down the vices, opening our ears, and getting rid of the spirit of LAZY that stagnates us to points of NON MOVEMENT.
IF YOU ARE SICK AND TIRED THEN ACT LIKE IT. MAKE SOME CHANGES.
I am more focused to eliminate the lack in my life due to my slack behavior. Me sharing this with you all simply makes me accountable to YOU.
Yall Pray for this sista. This is a true confession for real.
I can't belive its been 5 months since you've been in SC. Time sure flies!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspirational blog. I am going to print our Conquer the Lazy Spirit and put it in a frame. I needed to hear that. I'll pray for your continued motivation! Be well and Live Your Dreams! Pam
I know you have the spirit and brains to conquer anything. I think we as women get caught up in trying to do too much. I myself am just grateful that the Good Lord wakes me every morning and from that early morning hour, I just ask Him to guide my day, my decisions and my actions; then I let Him lead. I don't take in all the comments from the earth. I hear, I listen, I acknowledge and but He guides!
ReplyDeleteok here it is. Post it, as per your girl...ME! lol.
ReplyDeleteSo much has happened in our life. It is amazing to see the forthcoming of the process. Continue to open yourself to Him and "He WILL make your paths straight". It is common for us believers to see the Lord as a wish granter, not realizing, that He will only do what we allow Him to do. Whether through waiting, watching or allowing us to go through struggle to realize our folly, He will never take our freedom of choice away. We are commanded to be "doers of His word, not just hearers"...this means in our personal lives too. He is always there. We are the ones who must be 'ready, willing and able (in His strength)' .From Desiree Boniche
